By purchasing from Hannah Knauer Hat & Design Co., you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Custom work & final sale

All hats are handcrafted and made to order unless otherwise stated. Due to the custom nature of the work, all custom hats are final sale and non-refundable.

Deposits are non-refundable and secure materials, time, and placement in the custom production schedule. Deposits are applied toward the final balance.

Payment & invoicing

The remaining balance is due prior to delivery, shipping, or pickup. Final invoices may include applicable sales tax and shipping costs.

Failure to complete payment may delay delivery.

Design approval & changes

Clients receive a design confirmation prior to production and must approve details before work begins.

Once production has started, changes are limited. Each custom hat includes a defined number of adjustment rounds, as outlined in the confirmation provided to the client.

Requests that require restarting the hat, changing materials, or significantly altering the agreed design may incur additional fees and extended timelines.

Once final approval is given, the hat is considered complete.

Add-ons, sourcing & materials

Custom add-ons and decorative elements are sourced and designed specifically for each client. Add-on pricing reflects materials, sourcing time, and design labor.

Budgets and final selections are approved by the client prior to completion. Pricing may vary based on availability and complexity.

Sizing

Clients are responsible for providing accurate sizing information. Minor fit adjustments may be possible; however, remakes or significant changes due to incorrect sizing information may result in additional fees.

Shipping & sales tax

Shipping is not included unless otherwise stated and will be added to the final invoice if applicable.

Sales tax will be added to the final invoice for orders delivered, shipped to, or picked up within Colorado, in accordance with Colorado sales tax requirements.

Handmade nature

Each hat is handmade and may feature natural variations in color, texture, or markings. These variations are part of the character and individuality of handmade work and are not considered defects.

Repairs & warranty

We offer a one-year workmanship warranty on stitching and sewing for hats made by the studio. Shipping to the studio is the responsibility of the client, or free local drop-off may be available.

At this time, repairs, resizing, and restorations are offered only for hats made by us.
